Coach  (Willie-Willie)

Coach James (Willie-Willie) is in his fourth season with Carolina Elite Sports as Director of Player Development. He started his athletic career at Crenshaw High School in Los Angeles, where he excelled in baseball, football and track. He went on to Los Angeles City College, where he played baseball and ran track.

• James is a baseball lifer having played, coached, umpired and scouted. His coaching experience consist of baseball, basketball and football. He coached at Vista Del Lago and Valley View High School in Moreno Valley, California and Texas Christian High School in Houston Texas.

• Coach James was Director of Player and Skills Development for the Italian Baseball league in Ravenna (Godo)Italy

• James umpired professionally (Cal League). He scouted for Chicago White Sox and Texas Rangers.

• On a lighter note Coach James has sang the National Anthem in several venus.

• Coach James is married to Michelle for 43 years, have four children and seven grandchildren.
